The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that Deshaun Watson will be starting for their first game of the season.
After two preseason games testing out Watson and Shedeur Sanders, Todd Monken decided on the veteran, as "Deshaun gave us the best chance to move the ball, score points.”
The decision comes after a month of training camp, but drew some backlash from Browns fans.

On Saturday's home game against the Bills, Watson was faced with loud booing from the half-full stands.
After the game, Watson was not happy and took his discontent to the press.
"I think the whole world knows it has nothing to do about the performance.
"It's a little bit [more] personal than that. So I think it's a disrespectful thing. So yeah, I mean, I'm going to keep whatever I feel with me and my family internally on how I feel about that. And yeah, just move on." Said Watson.
This quickly generated a negative response from Cleveland fans, making Watson retract his words without actually apologizing.
Will we see Sanders at any point?
Watson's first game will be an away one at Jacksonville; given he also starts the second game, it will be in Tampa Bay.
The former Texans quarterback would not need to face his home crowd until Week 3.
This would give Monken a chance to test out his quarterback without the "disrespect" of his fanbase.
While Monken assures he does not make decisions based on how the fans will react, this will be one to ponder.
Sanders might be on the field sooner rather than later if Browns' fans have anything to say about it.
