AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Kamara: Where will the NFL's top trade targets land?
Watch the 2026 NFL season live on DAZN

We're in the thick of NFL Organised Team Activities (OTAs), but that doesn't mean the NFL news cycle goes quiet.

Several high-profile players remain in limbo, and a handful of trades feel inevitable in the months to come.

Here are the top three names to watch, and my take on where they will land.

A.J. Brown, WR - Philadelphia Eagles

AJ Brown 16x9

Brown's potential exit from the Eagles has been in the headlines for a while, and the Eagles have done nothing to downplay the idea that he'll be gone soon.

GM Howie Roseman spent the 20th overall selection on former USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, and added another receiving threat in tight end Eli Stowers one round later.

Cap rules are the likely reason for the delay in Brown's move. Trades after June 1 allow teams to split the hit between 2026 and 2027.

Brown's likely destination: Patriots

The Patriots are the frontrunners.

Romeo Doubs arrived on a four-year, $68 million deal to infuse a young group with something a little more proven, but Brown would still be the best wideout in that room by some distance.

We cannot rule out the Chiefs, who could be without Rashee Rice if the league imposes a suspension for his latest transgression.

Brandon Aiyuk, WR - San Francisco 49ers

Aiyuk missed 10 games in 2024 with a torn ACL, spent 2025 recovering and then saw his relationship with the 49ers deteriorate entirely.

GM John Lynch made it clear back in April that the situation with the disgruntled Aiyuk had reached the point of no return.

Aiyuk's 2027 cap hit is $41.4 million, and every interested team knows San Francisco might be forced to cut him, leaving Lynch and Co. in a precarious situation.

Aiyuk's likely destination: Commanders

Washington makes obvious sense. The Commanders need a receiver alongside Terry McLaurin, and Aiyuk and Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels were college teammates at Arizona State.

Alvin Kamara, RB - New Orleans Saints

For the better part of a decade, Kamara was the focal point of the entire New Orleans offense. Now, that era could be over.

The Saints signed Travis Etienne Jr. in free agency and have been tight-lipped about Kamara's future ever since.

"We're getting close," is as definitive as Kellen Moore was on when the situation would be resolved.

"We're just trying to see how he's going to fit in our roster, and obviously, there's a resource management element to it, and we'll get to that over the next week or two," general manager Loomis said last week.

A post-June 1 trade is one route this could go, but Kamara may have other plans.

Kamara's likely destination: Saints

Kamara clearly knows where his bread is buttered. And at 31 in July and coming off a down year, his negotiating position isn't what it was.

This seems like the kind of situation where the player takes a pay cut to remain in the home he cherishes.
