“I expect fireworks,” says NFL Super Bowl winner as Rams vs Jaguars set to light up London at Wembley

Both sides enter at 4–2, full of talent and confidence, and each sees this as a chance to prove they’re more than early-season flashes. It's a high-stakes matchup with playoff ambitions on the line.

I caught up with someone who has won the Vince Lombardi to ask for his take on the game.

“Two good teams. This is going to be a big-time challenge for both of these teams. We're going to see who steps up to the top of the mountain.”

Those words come from Jason Bell, who won Super Bowl XLII with the Eli Manning-led New York Giants after this side toppled the New England Patriots in a game forever remembered for David Tyree’s iconic ‘Helmet Catch’.

As the Jaguars prepare for a pivotal matchup, Bell singled out two figures behind their remarkable 2025 turnaround.

“I love [quarterback] Trevor Lawrence. He's playing outstanding. [Head coach] Liam Coen, right now, is looking like the coach of the year with the way he's turned this team around.

"It's going to be a battle."

It’s praise that echoes a growing sentiment around the league. Coen’s calm leadership and creative play-calling have quietly made him one of the frontrunners in the early Coach of the Year conversation.

In a tightly contested AFC South, led by the surprise 5–1 Indianapolis Colts, Coen will need to overcome the odds in London to help his team pull off an upset and keep their playoff dreams alive.

With Wembley expected to be rocking once again, and as the designated home team on the day, the Jaguars will be hoping their London faithful can help push them over the line.

Bell is certain the crowd will make itself heard, telling me, “The fans bring the energy, and they just don't disappoint,” adding, "It energises us."

Come Sunday, that same energy will fill Wembley - and if Bell’s prediction holds, we should expect fireworks.
