Maxx Crosby speaks for the first time since being sent back to the Las Vegas Raiders

All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby released a statement in his first public comments on Wednesday night since getting sent back to the Las Vegas Raiders after the Baltimore Ravens said he failed his physical. Crosby took to his X account and expressed his desire to remain in Las Vegas.
"Everything Happens For A Reason," Crosby wrote in a post on X. "Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. Im A Raider. I'm Back. Run That S—."
Last week, the Ravens acquired Crosby from the Raiders for two first-round draft picks. Then on Tuesday, the Raiders took to social media to say the Ravens "backed out" of the deal because of medical issues with his physical, and Crosby would return to the team he's known since 2019.
Crosby underwent successful surgery in January to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. The 28-year-old knew surgery was needed during the season. He wanted to play and did until the Raiders told him they were benching, which made Crosby upset and pushed a trade forward.
Many teams have reached out to Las Vegas about trading for Crosby. But Crosby let the Raiders know that he doesn't want to go anywhere and is committed to the franchise. Crosby was working out the Raiders' facility on Wednesday evening.
Crosby's team has said that he's ahead of schedule from the surgery and is aiming to return to the offseason program.
