The Jaxson Dart era got off to a strong start when the New York Giants upset the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, but it came at a significant cost.
Head coach Brian Daboll was understandably disappointed.
Losing a wideout of Nabers' quality would be huge for any team, but with a rookie quarterback taking charge of the offense, and the Giants staring down a hole at 1-3, the situation is desperate.
Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, and tight end Theo Johnson are expected to step up, but Dart and the offense need extra help. Here are three wide receivers they could target.
Tyreek Hill
The Dolphins' wideout has done little to dispel rumours that his time in Miami could come to an end. Earlier this year, he told reporters, "There are a lot of things that I need to reassess about my career... I just gotta do what's best for me and my family, whether that's here or wherever the case may be."
He didn't appear to be any more content in the Dolphins' Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Hill has faced criticism for his off-field antics, but he remains a difference-maker when dialled in. The Dolphins, at 0-3, may be willing to part ways with the star receiver and focus on their rebuild efforts in 2026.
Rashid Shaheed
The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract, and the Saints are likely to prioritise getting a deal done with Chris Olave - also in a contract year.
Shaheed has never had a 1,000-yard season, but he's a field stretcher who could create room underneath for tight end Johnson. Whether the Saints, currently 0-4, would be willing to part ways remains to be seen.
Odell Beckham Jr.
As a free agent who has a history with the Giants, Beckham perhaps makes the most sense of these three. The temptation to end his career with the team with which he made his name may be too attractive to turn down.
At 32, he's no longer the player he once was, but he's a savvy veteran who could serve as a valuable role player behind the younger pass catchers.
