We had a six-game slate on Thursday night filled with rookie debuts and much-anticipated action on the field.

Drew Allar making a name for himself at the Steelers

The rookie from Penn State made an early statement, showing why he deserves to be higher than fourth-string QB in Pittsburgh.

With a rushing TD, Allar gave the Steelers a scoring advantage in the third quarter.

Julius Chestnut goes off against the 49ers

The Titans RB was the leading rusher of the game, averaging 9.4 YDS per carry.

Chestnut gave Tennessee this 34-yard play, which would later help them seal the game with a 51-yard field goal.

Raiders have found something with Mike Washington

The No. 122 overall pick from Arkansas is just getting started with the Raiders and is showing why he is RB2 with the team.

The rookie had an impressive 53-yard run against the Cardinals.

Tarik Black getting catches with the Lions

The 2026 UFL Champion is trying to earn his spot with Detroit after just being signed at the start of August.

Black got the six points after this 24-yard reception from Luke Altmyer.

Amar Johnson had himself a day with the Chargers

With only a reserve/futures contract, the 23-year-old is showing why he deserves a spot on the 53-man roster with Los Angeles.

Johnson went off with this pass from Trey Lance and ended the game with two rushing TDs.

Patriots may have found their QB2 with Tommy DeVito

It's only preseason, and it's only been one game, but Tommy DeVito has a good chance to stay on as QB2 with New England in 2026.

Kyle Williams found DeVito's pass for what would later end up as the first draw of the season.
