The Bengals' training camp has been feisty, with a scuffle involving star wideout Ja'Marr Chase and cornerbacks DJ Turner II and Jalen Davis.

"Nothing to it. Brothers fight all the time," Turner later told reporters. "It's just competitive, that's all it is. Everybody trying to win. It's just competitive."

"If the intensity's not great on day one, then you're in trouble," Joe Burrow said after practice.

In other Bengals news, former first-rounder Shemar Stewart appeared to hyper-extend his left knee during the play and was seen with crutches and a brace on the left knee.

The severity of the injury is not known.

Panthers' WR Brazzell suffers injury

Third-round rookie Chris Brazzell II was carted off the field after going down with a non-contact injury in a 7-on-7 drill.

According to reports, he suffered a moderate lateral collateral ligament tear in his left knee and could be out for up to eight weeks.

"He felt weird on it, sat down. We took him in. We'll get a full evaluation and get a picture of that, and we'll give you guys more information there," said coach Dave Canales per the team website.

Chargers hyped to start camp

The combination of Jim Harbaugh and new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel cannot wait to get training camp underway.

With this kind of energy in the building and a breakout candidate at running back leading the charge, the Bolts' offense is one to watch in 2026.

Saints DT Bresee out for the season?

Bryan Bresee, tipped to have a career year in the heart of the Saints' defensive line, is likely out for the year.

"It took a little bit, I think, for him to realise what it felt like," coach Kellen Moore said in an interview on WWL radio in New Orleans.

"It felt like a little bit of something, and then once they checked it out, obviously, we'll continue to finalise all that, but it doesn't look great."
