Facing IBF lightweight champion Raymond Muratalla in Las Vegas, Cruz will aim to join the exclusive club of fighters who have won Olympic gold and a world title as a professional.
Cruz boasts a perfect 6-0 record with three of those wins coming by way of knockout and he last fought in June.

Cruz's next fight will take place on Saturday, January 24, when he challenges IBF lightweight champion Muratalla.
The fight will take place at Bleau Live Arena in Las Vegas, with the whole card set to be shown live on DAZN.
DAZN's coverage will begin at 8pm on the East Coast, which means a 1am start in the early hours of Sunday morning for fight fans in the UK.
