Dubois-Wardley II incoming?
Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley's highly anticipated rematch appears set for October, with Frank Warren suggesting confirmation is near.
The former dethroned the latter as WBO heavyweight champion in a blockbuster bout back in May, with a second dance long expected.
Questions over when it would take place however have lingered across the past few months, amid Oleksandr Usyk's mass belt exodus.
But Queensberry Promotions boss Warren has now teased that it will only be a matter of months before both men cross paths, per BBC Sport.
Cruz sets September return
Isaac Cruz will end a lengthy spell of inactivity with a WBC interim super lightweight defence against Nestor Bravo as early as next month.
'Pitbull' has not been out since retaining his strap with a majority draw against Lamont Roach Jr. last December at San Antonio's Frost Center.
But he will be back in the mix in just a few weeks, with Inside the Ring reporting he will line up against Bravo for his latest contest in the ring.
Former rival Roach fell short in his attempt to become WBC lightweight champion this past week, after he was outpointed by William Zepeda.
Jones exits Dubois camp
Daniel Dubois will no longer count Sam Jones among his camp, after the latter confirmed he was no longer working with the heavyweight star.
The advisor has been at the Briton's side for his recent exploits, including his win over Fabio Wardley to earn two-time world champion status.
But taking to social media, Jones has now confirmed that he has parted ways with the prizefighter, ending their association heading forwards.
“I have decided to leave my position from Team Dubois," he stated on X. "I wish Dan and the team nothing but the best going forward.”
