Taylor invites fan to take part in media workout

Anticipation is building ahead of Katie Taylor's farewell fight against Flora Pili on Saturday night at Dublin's Croke Park. 

Fight week is well underway in the Irish capital, and on Wednesday, Taylor took part in her final media workout. 

She certainly made it one to remember for one 10-year-old fan whom she invited into the ring to take part. 

It was a heartwarming moment, and the emotion on the young girl's showed how much inspiring Taylor has been throughout her career. 

Navarrete and Foster announce huge unification

In the United States, a huge unification fight was announced with WBO and IBF super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete and WBC titleholder O'Shaquie Foster going head-to-head. 

This is a contest which has been met with widespread acclaim from fans, as it pits two of the best at 130lbs against each other. 

The showdown is confirmed to take place on Saturday, October 24, and it will be broadcast live on DAZN. 

Muratalla vacates IBF lightweight title

It comes as no surprise, but Raymond Muratalla is moving up to super lightweight after confirming his decision to vacate the IBF world lightweight title. 

Muratalla won the belt in January when he beat Andy Cruz before making a successful defence last month against Robson Conceicao. 

One of the reasons behind this move up in weight for Muratalla is to pursue a clash with Shakur Stevenson, but there is also a feeling the American's time at super lightweight could be brief before making an eventual switch to welterweight.
