Gib plots ideal boxing comeback for KSI in 2025

Misfits Boxing continues on Thursday with X-Series 019 set to take place in Doha, Qatar.

Rivals Gib and Slim are set to clash in the main event of a stacked card which will be broadcast live on DAZN PPV.

However, there is one name which has been absent from recent Misfits events, and that is KSI.

There is no doubt KSI is one of, if not the biggest name under the promotional banner, but the British entertainment star has not fought since losing to Tommy Fury in October 2023.

With a comeback rumoured for 2025, there are a whole array of opponents which KSI could choose from and whoever is in the opposite corner, it will be a must-watch event.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN News ahead of his fight with Slim, Gib plotted his ideal scenario for KSI's boxing comeback.

"KSI’s coming off a loss, and a no contest because of an elbow, he needs a big redemption arc," Gib said.

"Hopefully he comes up against a good and testing fighter, one that people think he will lose to.

"That’s what you want to see, once someone has had a loss, you want to see them doubted and overcome it."

Before losing to Fury, KSI's fight against Joe Fournier five months earlier initially ended in a knockout win for the British star. This result was then changed to a no contest after he landed an accidental elbow on the 40-year-old at the OVO Arena Wembley.
