'Clueless!' - Former title challenger slams Eubank after technical decision victory

Jack Catterall believes Harlem Eubank made their fight "ugly" and suggested his opponent was "clueless" after their fight was curtailed following six rounds in Manchester.
Making the step up to welterweight, the former undisputed world title challenger won by technical decision after a clash of heads cut both men and forced the bout off.
Catterall prevailed after a convincing start to the contest at the AO Arena, earning a return to winning ways against the previously unbeaten Eubank in a new division.
But reflecting on his fight with The Stomping Ground a month later, 'El Gato' admits that he expected more from his opponent, and felt he never had to raise his level.
DAZN"He got on his bike, he made it ugly," he said. "I felt like after the first round or two, he didn't want to engage. I felt like he was dancing around the ring, wrestling, tying me up.
"I felt like I was the one forcing the fight, winning the rounds and chipping away. I feel like he ran out of ideas, and then it was down for me to step on the gas and break him down.
"Honestly, I felt like I didn't get out of first gear. I wasn't going to in there and make stupid mistakes. We know he's a slippery, sharp fighter. I expected a lot more from him.
"I was probably underwhelmed with what he brought to the table. We all want to have good fights, we all want to entertain. I think he was clueless.
"The disappointing thing for me was not having the second half of the fight. I think I'd have got him out of there. It's easy to say that now, but I really believe he wasn't on the level."
