Don’t stand too upright

At six-foot-four, the Brazilian has a tendency to stand too upright. It didn’t faze him — pardon the pun — against an opponent like Overtflow but did affect him badly against Slim. FaZe can’t afford to be too stiff against a fighter like KSI who gets right to the action. A little movement and rounding of the shoulders to snap into his punches will help.

Keep a tight guard

When FaZe does stand a bit too erect, he also tends to be lax with his guard or abandon it, altogether. Again, doing this for even a second against KSI could spell doom as the British YouTuber turned boxer will go after that chin in a heartbeat with a flurry of punches. FaZe must be aware and conscious of keeping a tight guard at all times.

Time the left hook as a counter

FaZe unloaded a compact left hook to knock an overmatched Overtflow out in seconds back in November. Now, KSI is absolutely a better fighter, however that doesn’t mean that he can’t be susceptible to a left hook from the southpaw FaZe. There’s no doubt that FaZe can generate power from his six-foot-four frame. If he can time that power properly and catch KSI with that left hook, this fight could get intriguing in a hurry.

FaZe should especially look to unload the weapon as a counterpunch while KSI is on the attack and pressuring. In other words, use KSI’s momentum against him and catch him with something potentially damaging.

KSI’s Keys to Victory

Get off to a busy start with pressure

KSI gets off to solid starts and he does it with energy and pressure. That energy and pressure could manufacture instant problems for FaZe especially considering his aforementioned standing too upright and lack of a tight, disciplined guard. It’s up to KSI to test those areas of concern immediately by pressuring him. Doing so could pay instant dividends toward another resounding victory.

Deposit shots to the body

While pressuring, it would behoove KSI to commit to the body. Doing so could force the lanky FaZe to lower his hands enough for KSI to blast him upstairs with a fight-changing shot. Depositing shots to the body would also help round out and balance KSI’s boxing game and put him in better position against a future opponent.

Set up and let that right hand go

KSI showed a great knack for throwing out his left jab to set up his right hand against a taller Logan Paul. He must do the same against an even taller FaZe Temper as well. Peppering and distracting FaZe with that left hand would be all KSI needs to unleash a thunderous right to bring this bout to a screeching halt and perhaps lay the groundwork for a showdown with Jake Paul in the near future.
