Two worlds came together over 1,000 feet above the Manhattan skyline as Matchroom Boxing and the Professional Darts Corporation get set to take over New York City this week.
Two of Britain’s best sports stars joined forces as two-time world darts champion Luke Littler and Olympic silver medalist and future world champion boxer Ben Whittaker linked up with Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn on top of 'The Edge' as they get set for a monumental week in America.
Littler begins his challenge for the US Darts Masters on Thursday at the Infosys Theatre at Madison Square Garden, going in search of his first major win in the US as he bids to dethrone reigning holder Luke Humphries.
And WBC silver light heavyweight champion Whittaker looks ahead to his big American debut when he faces Richard ‘Popeye’ Rivera on Saturday night, live on DAZN PPV, on the blockbuster undercard of Xander Zayas vs Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis at the Barclays Center.
