Picasso ready to paint the perfect upset in Riyadh

The Mexican (32-0-1) faces Naoya Inoue on The Ring V: Night of the Samurai card in Riyadh on Saturday, live on DAZN PPV, and it would be a huge upset if he manages to beat the Japanese superstar.

However, that doesn’t faze Picasso, and he believes the script is written for him to become the star of the show in Saudi Arabia.

"There are books that have a chapter where everything starts to become chaotic," Picasso told DAZN.

"Where the most interesting part of the story begins. I think I’m at that moment, it's going to completely change our lives.

Inoue (31-0) is bidding for his fourth win of the year, having already beaten Ye Joon Jim (KO4), Ramon Cardenas (TKO8) and Murodjon Akhmadaliev (UD) in 2025, and he is defending his undisputed super bantamweight titles.

However, Picasso is also unbeaten and brings a confidence to the table of someone who doesn’t know how to lose yet.

The scale of this event has not been lost on him, and he insists he won’t let such an opportunity go to waste.

"We know what this fight represents," Picasso added.
