The Australian heavyweight needed only two rounds at The Star Gold Coast to score a stoppage victory over the American.

With another showreel triumph to his name, the Sydneysider spoke of his desire to figure on the Fury-Joshua bill afterwards.

Hearn confirmed it would be his intention to try and book a bout for Teremoana, while addressing the need for tougher rivals.

"That is definitely the plan," he told DAZN in the ring. "We've got to step up the opposition. We did that tonight, supposedly.

"We picked a guy who went ten good rounds last time out but Teremoana's just too good. You saw the fear on Savage's face.

"As soon as he landed, his eyes were popping out of his head. He didn't land clean, but he didn't want to get up. I wouldn't!

"But we need to find someone that will get up. People will be calling out tougher opponents, and we must face tougher opponents

"He's got to do rounds. But, Australia has the best chance it ever has had to have a heavyweight superstar in Teremoana Teremoana.

"He can bring world heavyweight boxing here.  If there's someone that's going to crack the code for boxing in Australia, it's this man."
