Tommy Fury expects Eddie Hall to outweigh him by 100 pounds on fight night

Looking at Fury and Hall standing side by side, Hall will have a distinct weight advantage. Fury admitted as such in an appearance on Tuesday's Ariel Helwani Show. 

"All I'm going to say is, I'm going to weigh a lot heavier than people think, especially after what I've been seeing on the internet," Fury told Helwani. "People do think it's like a super heavyweight versus a welterweight. It really isn't. I'm a big, strong guy myself. 

"I definitely think there will be a 100-pound difference between us. Absolutely. In the ring on Saturday night, you are gonna see David and Goliath for real. Eddie is a mountain of a man, he's absolutely ginormous. I'm a big guy, but I'm an athletic guy, I don't look extraordinary or anything like that, so it's gonna be an absolute spectacle. Everyone should tune in. It's on DAZN live on PPV. They are going to get their money's worth."

In his last fight in May 2025 against Kenan Hanjalic, Fury (11-0, 4 KOs) came in at a career high 208¼ pounds, while Hall, in an MMA bout against Mariusz Pudzianowski in April 2025, weighed 334 pounds. 

To Fury, muscles don't matter, and his superior boxing skills will be the difference. 

"Everyone goes on about Eddie's power," Fury said. "If I catch Eddie on the chin or anywhere properly, it could be good night. He's not used to taking shots. He isn't a boxer. He's a former world's strongest man. So, it's going to be a shock to his system."
