Tyson Fury stops Mariusz Wach to setup Anthony Joshua fight

Twenty-four hours from now, Anthony Joshua will step inside the ring against Kristian Prenga , live and exclusively on DAZN PPV . A Joshua win would set up a long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury if he handled his business on Friday versus Mariusz Wach in Thailand.
Part one is complete as Fury stopped Wach by TKO at 3:00 of the seventh round when the latter quit on his stool before the eighth round began.
"I've had one fight in two years," Fury said after the fight. "This is my second fight in two years; of course I wanted to get the rounds in. I want to be active.
"It's not just the boxing in the ring. It's spilt over the fight week, the press conference, the weigh-in, the nerves. Everything."

The former two-time heavyweight champion dominated Wach, who came in with a 3-7 record in his last 10 fights, from start to finish. Leaner than his April decision win over Arslanbek Makhmudov, Fury threw more combinations, more power shots and moved around the ring better than he did three months ago.Â
Realizing Wach was proving to be no threat, Fury even planted a kiss on the native of Poland's cheek when they were inside the clinch.Â
Now, the fun and games are over in the Far East for Fury, and the real fight is looming as long as Joshua takes care of his end on Saturday.Â
