Just two days away from their unified super welterweight title clash on DAZN PPV and Ultimate Tier, Xander Zayas and Jaron "Boots" Ennis go face-to-face in their final press conference today - Thursday, June 25, exclusively on DAZN.
Zayas (23-0, 13 KOs) competes for the second time this year. Back at the end of January, he defeated Abass Baraou by unanimous decision in a dominant performance. He wanted the best fighter out there at 154 pounds. Ennis was happy to oblige.
Meanwhile, Ennis (35-0, 31) makes his 2026 debut. He made a splash in his super welterweight debut in October, wiping out Uisma Luna inside of three minutes. A bout with Vergil Ortiz Jr. failed to materialize, and now Ennis gets a crack at the man leading the division.
It should be an animated press conference, as their first one back in April was edgy. Added to the mix at the presser will be England light heavyweight star Ben Whittaker and rising star Emiliano Vargas.
