Rivera (7-0, 3 KOs), the undefeated pride of Puerto Rico, will clash against unbeaten Venezuelan Angelino Cordova (19-0-1, 12 KOs) with the WBA flyweight interim world title on the line Saturday night.

Rivera had three wins in 2024 including his fourth-round TKO of Angel Gonzalez Jr. in December, while Cordova scored a unanimous decision over Josue Jesus Morales that same month. The Rivera-Cordova winner will put himself in position to challenge flyweight WBA/WBC world champ Ricardo Sandoval.
