BRAVE CF 107 preview: Fight card, main event and how to watch

Held in partnership with the Bulgarian Fight Agency (BFA), the event continues BRAVE CF's growing investment in Eastern Europe after successful visits to Burgas in both 2024 and 2025.

This year's card combines established contenders, rising prospects and a host of Bulgarian talent, with several bouts carrying significant implications for their respective divisions.

Kaloyan Kolev looks to move closer to a title opportunity

The main event sees hometown favourite Kaloyan Kolev take on France's Salim El Ouassaidi in a light heavyweight contest after El Ouassaidi stepped in on short notice following the withdrawal of Nemanja Kovač through injury.

Kolev enters the bout with an impressive 13-1-1 professional record, including nine knockout victories, and has quickly established himself as one of Bulgaria's leading MMA talents.

His most notable BRAVE CF appearance came at BRAVE CF 97, where he battled Mohamed "L'Ambiance" Said Maalem to a majority draw. Since then, Said Maalem has captured the BRAVE CF light heavyweight world championship, making Saturday's headline bout a potentially pivotal step towards a future title opportunity for Kolev.

Standing opposite him is El Ouassaidi, an experienced striker with an 11-4 record who returns to BRAVE CF looking to secure his first victory inside the promotion.

With both men known for their finishing ability, the main event has all the ingredients to produce an explosive contest.

Flyweight contenders finally settle unfinished business

The co-main event features one of the most intriguing matchups on the card as Georgia's Bidzina Gavashelishvili faces South Africa's Luthando "Shorty" Biko.

The pair were originally scheduled to meet at BRAVE CF 82 in 2024 before the contest was cancelled, meaning their long-awaited showdown finally takes place more than two years later.

Gavashelishvili arrives with a 15-4 record and victories in three of his last four BRAVE CF appearances, while Biko continues his pursuit of a breakthrough win that could establish him among the division's leading contenders.

With Muhammad Mokaev now reigning as BRAVE CF's flyweight world champion, victory could prove crucial in the race towards a future title shot.

Heavyweight clash offers redemption for both fighters

The heavyweight division is also well represented as Ukraine's Danylo Voievodkin meets experienced French contender Grégory Robinet.

Voievodkin built an unbeaten reputation across Eastern Europe before earning a spectacular 73-second submission victory on Dana White's Contender Series in 2024. However, he suffered the first defeat of his professional career during his BRAVE CF debut earlier this year and now returns looking to restart his climb through the heavyweight rankings.

Across the cage stands Robinet, a former BRAVE CF heavyweight title challenger whose experience makes him one of the toughest tests available in the division.

With both fighters looking to re-establish themselves among the heavyweight elite, the contest could have significant implications for the championship picture.

Mohamed Alsameea continues his rapid rise

Another fighter to watch is Bahraini prospect Mohamed Alsameea, who remains on the card after Swiss newcomer Miran Ramani accepted the fight on short notice following the withdrawal of Aleksandar Hristov.

Alsameea has emerged as one of Bahrain's brightest young talents, compiling a 5-1 professional record with all five victories coming by knockout.

Having fought exclusively under the BRAVE CF banner during his professional career, another impressive performance could further establish the heavy-handed prospect as one of the promotion's rising stars.

For Ramani, meanwhile, the bout represents an opportunity to make an immediate impression as he makes his professional debut on one of MMA's biggest international stages.
