Exclusive: Gadzhi Rabadanov ready to finish off Marc Diakese at the PFL World Tournament

DAZN News spoke to the 31-year-old, who is delighted to have a big-name opponent in the first round, which he could then add to his record of achievements.

"I think he's a good opponent for me. He's very tough. He has a name because he's a former UFC fighter. It's good for me. It's good for my legacy and to continue my win streak."

Rabadanov hopes to finish his opponent before the end of the fight.

"I finish him after two rounds," he said. "I will finish him, Inshallah."

On the other side of the draw, Brent Primus will face Vinicius Sacchelli Cenci. If they each win their next two bouts, Primus and Rabadanov could find themselves in the final. It was Rabadanov who won by third-round knockout in the 2024 final, and the potential rematch the Dagestani. 

"I think it would be fine," he said. "It would be funny. But I believe he can do it. He can do it again. He's a very tough guy. I think it can happen again."
