Alfie Davis has one question for Kevin Lee ahead of PFL main event

While Rabadanov was a champion in 2024, there is no cause for concern for Alfie Davis, "I think that I wouldn't expect that to happen to me. So yeah, I think that's the fact on why I don't believe it will go the same way as what happened in the Kevin Lee fight."

In an interview with DAZN News, Davis discussed Kevin Lee's defeat against the Dagestani fighter.

"How many times has Kevin Lee kicked someone in the face? Let's be honest. I'm surprised he could even lift his leg up there without pulling his hamstring. If you look at my résumé, I've got many kicks in the face. I think it's not really a statement. I think that's probably the thing - if I were to win, that is probably the way that I can win - is by kicking him in the face from my history. Also, no disrespect to Kevin Lee, but he's got a lot of mileage on the clock to get hurt from a jab from Gadzhi."

He explained his strategy to DAZN and is determined to take the belt away from Rabadanov. 

"I think I'm going to kick him in the face and watch him do the chicken dance. I think there are many ways of beating him, but I think the way that I will beat him is in the striking department. That's it, really. I think I'm a better striker than him."

As a reminder, Rabadanov has not lost since 2020, when he suffered a defeat at Eagle FC, and he is currently on a streak of four consecutive finishes.

"There's no secret in what I'm going to be trying to do. I'm going to try to stay on my feet and kick him in the face. He is going to realise that he's in a world of trouble and he's going to be shooting at my legs. So I think that's the fight encapsulated there," Davis concluded.
