Exclusive: Leon Edwards still has a lot left to give, says Brad Pickett

He was in the corner of Nathaniel Wood and Lone'er Kavanagh at UFC London, at which Leon Edwards lost in the main event to Sean Brady.
Fighter-turned coach Brad Pickett spoke to DAZN News via NetBet, UFC Betting, about his compatriot's defeat.
"To me, I was on Leon Edwards’ side," Pickett said. "His last fight against Belal [Muhammad], he looked very slow, lethargic. And I blamed it because I had fought that [late] time before years ago. And I’m like, 'So that’s the reason why he was off.'
"But against Sean Brady, he has no excuses now. And so that’s a real tough spot for him to be in now as a fighter, being number one and then losing back to back."Â

In particular, Pickett looked at what could help the former UFC welterweight champion get back to the top.Â
"I still think he’s a very, very talented fighter, and he’s still young," Picket said. "He still has a lot left to give.
"But yeah, he just maybe needs to change things up here and there within his camp. Maybe go somewhere else to train, go out to America, go somewhere, just change things up a little bit, because he’s still a very talented fighter."
