'Godzilla versus King Kong' - But can Francis Ngannou still become 'the boss' once more against Renan Ferreira?

Francis Ngannou's clash with Renan Ferreira is "Godzilla versus King Kong" when the pair meet at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants this weekend, live on DAZN.
The French-Cameroonian fighter returns to the cage for the first time in almost three years, and will make his debut with the promotion at Riyadh's Kingdom Arena on Saturday.
Ngannou left UFC in January 2022, but has not fought since as an MMA fighter, instead taking the time out to face Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in professional boxing bouts.

But his return to face Brazilian Ferreira for the PFL Heavyweight Superfight Championship is both a blockbuster occasion and a chance to see if his reputation remains intact.
Ahead of the clash, commentator Mark Chavet discussed the excitement for such a bout between the two men, as well as what is at stake for Ngannou in his comeback.
"It's going to be absolutely crazy, Godzilla versus King Kong," he said in a DAZN documentary that aired in October.
"it's going to make an absolutely exploisve cocktail, no doubt about it. He now has a new opportunity to show who is the boss in the ring.
"He was the boss once. Can he become the boss again? The stakes are many. The stakes are huge."
