Molly McCann steamrolls Hannah Goldy with first-round stoppage at UFC London

Molly McCann delivered a knockout of the year candidate with a spinning back elbow over Luana Carolina in March during the UFC's return to London. So how would the Englishwoman perform in a sequel in the UK on Saturday against Hannah Goldy?

While it wasn't the highlight reel finish people saw four months ago, McCann still delivered as she decimated Goldy to win by TKO at 3:52 of the first round. 
McCann was in control throughout. She stuffed Goldy's takedown attempts and controlled the action on the feet until the end. "Meatball" closed the show by landing a big right hand and a spinning back elbow that stunned Goldy. Then, McCann saw Goldy was on shaky legs and went to work. McCann landed a barrage of shots to drop Goldy. McCann continued the assault until referee Herb Dean broke it up, and the crowd went bananas. 

The win in her home country is McCann's (13-4) third in a row. She didn't know what was next but wanted to enjoy the moment.

“Have you ever seen lightning strike twice? Well, now you have, lads," McCann said.
