Juliet Ukah and Ceileigh Niedermayr continued preparations to meet at PFL Cape Town next month in an open workout, where the former vowed to "finish the fight".
The pair will meet on the undercard of Johnny Eblen and Costello van Steenis' major bout on July 19 at the GrandWest Grand Arena, looking to improve on their records.
Held at the Champions Academy RDC Gym in Kinshasa, Congo in as MMA prepares to make major inroads into Africa, the two strawweight stars showed off their skills.
Afterwards, Ukah stressed that she anticipates an early victory when she steps into the cage for their bout, and that her advantage comes from further fights to date.
"I’m the more experienced fighter and the better striker, so I’m comfortable wherever the fight goes," she said.
"I expect to get the finish, but I don't mind going to a third round if needed."
Niedermayr meanwhile stressed her latest camp was a chance to reaffirm her skills more than it was to necessarily face Ukah.
"This fight camp isn’t just about preparing for my next opponent," she added. "It’s a reflection of my lifelong dedication to martial arts.
"I’m always pushing myself to grow, to evolve, and to become the best fighter I can be."
