Rakhmonov was last seen in action at the end of 2023, when he submitted Stephen Thompson in the second-round of their fight at UFC 296. Now the 30-year-old features on the co-main event of Saturday's card, where he'll take on fellow undefeated welterweight Garry in a title eliminator.

Garry, 27, has been in action twice this year, first winning by split decision against Geoff Neal in February before earning a unanimous decision victory over Michael Page at UFC 303 in June.

Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry fight date, start time

Rakhmonov was originally set to headline this weekend's card against Belal Muhammad, but a bone infection in his foot forced the UFC welterweight champion to withdraw from the fight.

Instead, Rakhmonov takes on Garry in a five-round title eliminator that will serve as the co-main event to the UFC flyweight championship bout between Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura.
