UFC Vegas 85: Imavov defeats Dolidze, McCann makes winning strawweight debut

The UFC returned home to the UFC APEX for a fight night card after a week-long hiatus.
Headlining the card was a middleweight scrap between No. 8 ranked Roman Dolidze vs. No. 11 ranked Nassourdine Imavov.
Dolidze (12-2) was looking to rebound from his loss to decision loss Marvin Vettori and prove he's still cut out for a title track. Imavov (12-4) was looking to get his first win since September 2022 having lost to Sean Strickland and suffered a no-contest to Chris Curtis in 2023.
In the co-main event, Renato Moicano (17-5-1) faced Drew Dober (27-12) for a lightweight showdown. Moicano was coming off a first-round submission win over Brad Riddell in November 2023 and looks to build momentum again. Dober was coming off a first-round finish of his own, a TKO win over Ricky Glenn in October 2023.
Also on the card was the strawweight debut of Molly McCann who needed a win to keep her UFC dreams alive. She squared off with Diana Belbita in the featured preliminary fight.
