Atalanta suffered a minor misfire to begin their new Serie A campaign as they were held to a 1-1 draw by a defiant Pisa, with the points shared between the two teams.
The visitors had made a dream start to life back in the top-tier after three decades away when Isak Hien's own goal gave them the lead before the break at Gewiss Stadium.
But though Gianluca Scamacca was able to level matters for the hosts, they could not find a second to take the win, with their opponents well-deserving of a crucial result.
