Men's Club of the Year 2026 nominees 

Arsenal (England)

The Gunners ended their two-decade wait to be champions by winning the Premier League for the first time since 2004, ahead of Manchester City. 

Mikel Arteta's men also made it all the way to the Champions League final without losing a single game, only to be denied the trophy in a heart-breaking penalty shootout. 

Bayern Munich (Germany)

The German giants continued their dominance of the Bundesliga by winning a league and cup double in 2026. 

Aided by Harry Kane's glut of goals and the performances of Michael Olise, Bayern only lost one game all season and finished 16 points clear of Borussia Dortmund. 

Bodo/Glimt (Norway)

Bodo were the talk of the Champions League, with the Norwegian outsiders becoming the giant killers of the 2026 competition. 

In their first-ever campaign, they qualified for the knockout phase, beating Manchester City and Atletico Madrid along the way, before knocking Inter out in the Round of 32.

Flamengo (Brazil)

Flamengo are the team to beat in Brazil after another year full of trophies for the Rubro-Negro. 

Not only did they win the Brazilian Serie A as well as the Campeonato Carioca, but they also triumphed in the Copa Libertadores. 

PSG (France) 

The French side continued to be the team to beat in France with another league championship for Luis Enrique, but it was in Europe where they conquered once again. 

A win over Arsenal in the Champions League final saw PSG become only the second side to win back-to-back Champions League trophies.

Women's Club of the Year 2026 nominees 

FC Barcelona (Spain)

The Catalans won their sixth league title in a row to continue their dominance of Spanish football, but also claimed their place back at the top of European football, too. 

A 4-0 win over Lyon saw them win their fourth Champions League trophy. 

Bayern Munich (Germany)

A clean sweep for Bayern in 2026, as Munich completed a domestic treble for a second season in a row. 

The Germans also made the final four in the Champions League. 

Club America (Mexico)

A Mexican double for Club America as they tasted victory in both the Liga MX Femenil and Campeón de Campeonas. 

They are the continent's most successful team in 2026.

Manchester City (England)

City finally ended Chelsea's grip on the WSL by winning the championship for the first time since 2016. 

They finished four points ahead of Arsenal and also added the FA Cup, too, completing a league and cup double for Andrée Jeglertz. 

OL Lyonnes (France) 

An unbeaten league season for Lyon saw them take home all three domestic trophies and win the Première Ligue by 12 points. 

The French side also made it all the way to the Champions League final, only to fall short against Barcelona.
