Barnet’s unbeaten run this season continues after a dramatic 3-3 draw against Chesterfield.
First-half goals from Barnet’s Tom Knowles and Zac Williams were split by Chesterfield’s Louie Marsh, who equalised again in the second half before Kabongo Tshimanga and Joel Randall’s late goals.
A short corner just before the half-hour mark found Knowles in acres of space on the edge of the area where he whipped a curling strike into the top left corner.
Charlie Lakin squandered a chance to double their lead before Marsh levelled for the Spireites with a superb volley in the 39th minute.
Barnet were back in front after Knowles’ delivery was met by Williams to put the Bees ahead in time added on at the end of the half.
The hosts drew back level when Marsh slotted a rebound into an empty net in the 71st minute.
The Bees thought they had got the winner when Tshimanga scored in the 88th minute but a debut goal from Randall levelled for the Spireites in stoppage time.
