Caroline Weir rescues Real Madrid while Lyon extend perfect record
Scotland forward Caroline Weir scored a dramatic late equaliser as Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Paris FC in the Women’s Champions League.
The Spanish side were heading for their first defeat in the competition this season after Lorena Azzaro’s 41st-minute penalty gave the visitors the lead.
But eight minutes into added time, Weir struck from the edge of the penalty area to rescue a point for her side.

Stine Brekken’s superb individual effort in the 40th minute settled the game between two teams who went into the round without a point.
Brekken picked up the ball 40 yards out, nutmegged her opponent, drove to the edge of the penalty area and fired into the top corner.
