The second night of Matchday 1 of the Champions League saw a number of heavyweights enter the fray, and there was no shortage of drama throughout the six matches played on Wednesday.
The evening began with a pair of draws as Cypriot side Pafos grinded out a scoreless result at Olympiacos, while Slavia Praha and Bodo/Glimt played to a 2-2 stalemate in the Czech Republic.
Action then shifted into high gear as a Harry Kane brace powered Bayern Munich to a 3-1 victory over visiting Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain hammered Atalanta 4-0 in the French capital, Ajax fell 0-2 to Inter Milan and Liverpool once again found a stoppage time winner as they defeated a stubborn Atletico Madrid side 3-2 at Anfield.
