CJ Hamilton netted a stoppage-time winner as Blackpool moved out of the League One relegation zone with a 1-0 victory over Burton at Bloomfield Road.
The Seasiders were backed by a sold-out home crowd, as the club celebrated the recent anniversary of its 2019 homecoming fixture, with their strong support inspiring them to a vital win against their fellow strugglers.
The result lifted Ian Evatt’s men two points above Exeter and just one behind the Brewers in 18th.
In a first half of limited clear chances, Jordan Brown had the first notable attempt with a shot from the edge of the box proving to be a simple enough save for Brad Collins.
The next stop for the Burton keeper proved more testing as he kept out a header from Ashley Fletcher just before the break.
It took until a minute into added time for Blackpool’s next clear opportunity to present itself, with Hamilton slotting past Collins after being played in down the right by Leighton Clarkson.
