With less than two months until FIFA World Cup 2026, DAZN has announced an independent and bold new global initiative that will elevate real fans, vibrant cultures, and authentic stories, capturing how the tournament is experienced around the world.
DAZN48 seeks to put football fans from around the world at the heart of this summer's tournament, by building a worldwide squad of 48 creators who will tell the story of the World Cup from the fans' perspective.
With 48 nations in the tournament, each of the DAZN48 creators will represent a qualified country as DAZN strives to match the global scale of the largest World Cup in history through unique and compelling social-first storytelling.
“DAZN48 will place fans at the centre of the World Cup," Quim Domenech, EVP Global Content and Editorial at DAZN, said. "Creator‑first content brings an authenticity, immediacy, and cultural relevance that resonates deeply with our users.
"By empowering creators to tell their stories, we’re delivering a richer and more personal way to experience the tournament that reflects how football is lived and felt by fans around the world.”
DAZN48 launched last week, kicking off a global search for foootball creators who will become DAZN’s fan correspondents for the tournament, creating content, daily reactions, and cultural storytelling for a global audience across DAZN and social platforms.
DAZN is the home of FIFA+ , a vast library of football on-demand content including World Cup archive, iconic documentaries, player profiles, live matches and both full match replays and highlights.
Watch it all for FREE on DAZN on smart TVs, phones, tablets, streaming devices, games consoles and web browsers.
