FIFA Club World Cup: The permutations for each group ahead of the final games

The final round of group stage games at the FIFA Club World Cup begins on Monday, as teams look to book their places in the tournament's knockout phase.
So far, we've seen a rollercoaster ride of action, leaving nearly every group open and with the majority of the teams with hope to play for going into the final fixture.
We look at what could happen this week as teams vie to progress to the last sixteen.
Group A
The group is firmly split into two halves going into the final games and fortune has fallen on the top two when it comes to how the fixtures have fallen.
Palmeiras and Inter Miami are currently sitting in the top two positions on four points and play each other on Monday night. While each would be looking for a win to top the group, a point a piece would be all they need to see both teams progress into the knockout phase.
However, Porto and Al Ahly will be lurking and waiting to capitalise. For either to qualify they would need to win their game and then hope for a winner between the top two and that they can get a goal difference swing in their favour, as it would mean two times would be tied on four points.

Group B
This group is more interesting than many might have expected at the start of the tournament, with the actual prospect of European champions PSG not making the knockout round.
Their defeat to Botafogo means they find themselves behind the Brazilians and only above Atletico Madrid on goal difference ahead of the group's final round.
Botagfago only need a point to secure their passage to the last six; however, they host an Atletico team who know a win is their only shot of qualifying.
With PSG playing Seattle Sounders, who are all but confirmed as eliminated, it's expected that the French side should beat the MLS team. Therefore, there is a possibility that three teams could end on six points, and it would then come down to goal difference.

Group C
Bayern Munich have already booked their place in the last sixteen following their two wins out of two, and Aucklund City have been eliminated from the competition.
Therefore, second place is still up for grabs, but Benfica are in the driving seat, having stuck six goals past the New Zealanders last time out.
Benfica only need a point, and could face a rotated Bayern team; however, if the Portuguese side were to suffer defeat, Boca Juniors could still steal second spot, if they rack up a big enough scoreline in their final match.

Group D
Like Group C, Group D already has a team through to the last sixteen in Flamengo, while LAFC have been eliminated following their back-to-back defeats.
However, the second spot will be decided in a much clearer fashion as Chelsea and Esperance de Tunis meet in a final game shoot-out.
Following their surprising defeat to Flamengo, the Blues will need to avoid defeat to the Tunisians to make sure they get out of the group.

Group E
The advantage falls on the top two in the final fixtures, with Inter Milan and River Plate meeting, knowing that a draw would be good enough to send both teams through to the next phase.
However, if the game does produce a winner, then Monterrey have an opportunity to move into second place if they can beat Urawa Red Diamonds, who have already exited the tournament after losing both their games.

Group F
It's two from three in Group F, where it looks on paper that Borussia Dortmund have the advantage in the final round of fixtures.
The Germans currently top the group and play Ulsan HD in their final fixture, who are already out of the tournament.
That leaves the other spot a straight shoot-out between Fluminense and Mamelodi Sundowns, where the winner would guarantee their passage out of the group.

Group G
No permutations here, because Group G is done and dusted.
Al Ain and Wydad are both already out of the competition, leaving Manchester City and Juventus to fight for top spot in their final game against each other.

Group H
Much like Group E, Group H sees the top two play each other in the final round, where a point apiece would see them both safely through.
However, if there's a winner between Real Madrid and Red Bull Salzburg, then Al Hilal can take second spot if they beat already-eliminated Pachuca.
