After six weeks of action, 104 games and 48 teams, the 2026 World Cup comes to a close tonight with the showpiece final.
However, the tournament isn't going away without one last party to celebrate what has been a feast of football from the US, Canada and Mexico.
Ahead of the competition's final, FIFA will put on a closing ceremony for the ages as they sign off from the finals with a celebration of football and some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Who is performing at the 2026 World Cup closing ceremony?
New York/New Jersey's MetLife Stadium will host the extravaganza, 90 minutes from kick-off, and the ceremony will feature some massive names from the world of music and film.
This star-studded show will feature performances by Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed, as well as a special appearance by Tom Cruise.
Then Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner Jennifer Hudson will deliver a special rendition of the United States national anthem ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
“Echoing the spirit of the opening ceremonies, which welcomed the world to the greatest stage in Canada, Mexico and the United States, the closing ceremony will bring the FIFA World Cup 2026 full circle through music, culture and football, before we kick off the highly anticipated match that will crown the champions of this groundbreaking tournament,” said Heimo Schirgi, Chief Operating Officer - FIFA World Cup 2026.
