England vs. DR Congo

The real business starts for England this evening when they take on DR Congo in Atlanta.
The majority of England's stars are fit, but right back is the real area of concern. First choice Reece James is out with a hamstring injury, while Jarrell Quansah has an ankle problem.
While DR Congo will adopt an approach similar to Ghana and implement a low block, they will target England's right side with their swift counter attacks which helped steer them into the knockout stages at this World Cup.

- Kick-off: 9pm BST / 4pm ET / 1pm PT
- Venue: Seattle Stadium
This is probably the most intriguing match of today's schedule.
Belgium are yet to convince many that they are serious contenders at this World Cup despite finishing top of their group, and this match will prove whether Rudi Garcia's are the real deal, or like some Belgium teams of the past, fail to live up to the hype.
Senegal also find themselves in a similar situation. They were in a tough group, and managed to qualify as a best third-placed team following back-to-back defeats to France and Norway.
The African side's stamina will serve them well against a Belgium side with a number of aging players, but the latter do still threaten in attack and could enjoy playing against a Senegal defence which does have a tendency to concede.

USA vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina

- Kick-off: 1am BST (July 2) / 9pm ET / 6pm PT
- Venue: San Francisco Bay Area Stadium
The USA will look to make it three-from-three when it comes to the tournament hosts reaching the last 16.
The American's defeat to Türkiye in their final group match is one which has been quickly forgotten with it being an exercise to get star man Christian Pulisic fit to start.
The US do have the better technical players, striker Folarin Balogun and Pulisic will be the focal points in attack, but Bosnia have proven to be a stern test.
They may not be the most pleasing, but their strength and physicality never fades, and the US defence will have their work cut out against the likes of Edin Dzeko, who may not have scored at this tournament, but is providing the space for his team's more exciting players to flourish.
