Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi are in: Spain vs. Argentina World Cup final starting lineups confirmed

Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente and his Argentina counterpart, Lionel Scaloni, have each submitted their respective starting lineups for today's massive contest, which kicks off at 3pm ET / 8pm BST just outside of New York City.

As expected, the stars are included in each team's XI, with teenage sensation Lamine Yamal headlining the Spanish side while Lionel Messi leads la Albiceleste into a second straight World Cup final.

Aside from Yamal and Messi, most of the supporting cast for either side are familiar to fans who have watched Spain and Argentina throughout this tournament.

Here are the respective starting lineups for both teams:

Spain starting XI

La Roja have named an unchanged starting lineup from the team that made France look ordinary in the semi-finals.

Argentina starting XI

Scaloni makes three changes to the Argentine XI that defeated England 2-1 in the semi-finals, with Rodrigo De Paul, Gonzalo Montiel and Nico Gonzalez replacing Giuliano Simeone and Leandro Paredes.
