France marched into their third consecutive World Cup semi-final with a 2–0 victory over Morocco in Boston, delivering a clinical second-half performance after being frustrated for an hour.

Yassine Bounou's penalty save from Kylian Mbappé at 28 minutes kept Morocco level, but the French captain responded with the opener at 60 minutes before setting up Ousmane Dembélé six minutes later.

Dembélé's relentless attacking threat and decisive contributions earned him the standout individual performance of a one-sided quarter-final.

DAZN News rates each set of players and our player of the match:

Player of the Match

Ousmane Dembélé (France)

Dembélé delivered a match-winning display with a goal and assist that sealed France's passage to the semi-finals.

His 66th-minute strike, driving through the centre before firing past Bounou, gave Morocco no way back.

Throughout the contest, his pace and directness on the right repeatedly stretched Morocco's defensive shape.

The combination play with Mbappé that led to France's opener showcased his intelligent movement and timing.
