It's a battle of European sides as Spain and Belgium meet in New England to contest a quarter-final match at the 2026 World Cup on Saturday.
The Spanish have gained momentum throughout this competition after their tournament-opening draw with Cabo Verde, which was shocking at the time but looks better in hindsight now that we know what was in store for the tiny nation. Either way, Spain have been defensively sound so far in this World Cup, playing five matches without giving up a goal.
As for Belgium, they have looked vulnerable at times and dominant at others, with their last-ditch comeback against Senegal in the round of 32 leading into a complete beatdown of the United States in the last-16.
With the Red Devils very much a team in between generations, they will face their sternest test of the World Cup so far in this match.
