The Kings World Cup Clubs is the biggest club competition in the Kings League calendar, bringing together the champions and leading teams from every Kings League competition around the world to crown the sport's undisputed world champion.

Unlike the Kings World Cup Nations, where countries compete against one another, the Kings World Cup Clubs sees domestic teams from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and the MENA region battle for international glory. The tournament was first held in 2024 and has quickly become the pinnacle of club football within the Kings League ecosystem.

For the 2026 edition, the tournament has been streamlined to 16 teams, with qualification earned through domestic league success and continental cup victories rather than wildcard invitations. Defending champions Los Troncos FC return after lifting the trophy in Paris last year, where they defeated Porcinos FC in an all-Spanish final.

Founded by Gerard Piqué, the Kings League has reimagined football by combining traditional seven-a-side action with innovative rules such as secret weapons, game-changing cards and dramatic penalty shootouts. Those unique elements remain at the heart of the Kings World Cup Clubs, creating a tournament where every match can change in an instant.

The 2026 tournament takes place in Italy from July 26 to August 1, with clubs chasing the biggest prize in Kings League football and the chance to establish themselves as the best team in the world. 

What is the format of the Kings World Cup Clubs 2026?

The Kings World Cup Clubs 2026 features a new 16-team format, reduced from 32 teams in previous editions. Instead of beginning with a straight knockout bracket, every club is guaranteed more than one match thanks to an opening Swiss stage, before the tournament moves into a traditional knockout phase.

Initial Stage

The tournament begins with three rounds:

1. Round 1
2. Round 2
3. Last Chance

All 16 teams start in Round 1, with the draw ensuring clubs from the same domestic league cannot face each other in their opening match.

Teams that win their opening fixture move into the winners' path, while defeated sides drop into the losers' path.

In Round 2, clubs that improve to 2-0 qualify automatically for the quarter-finals. Teams that fall to 0-2 are eliminated from the competition. The remaining sides then meet in the Last Chance round, where the winners claim the final four places in the knockout stage and the losers head home.

Knockout stage

The eight remaining clubs advance to a single-elimination knockout bracket consisting of:

• Quarter-finals
• Semi-finals
• Final

The four clubs that reached the quarter-finals with a perfect 2-0 record are rewarded by being drawn against teams that progressed through the Last Chance round, giving them an advantage for their strong start to the tournament.

The winner of the final on August 1 will be crowned Kings World Cup Clubs 2026 champion.

Which teams have qualified for the Kings World Cup Clubs 2026?

Sixteen clubs from seven Kings League competitions have qualified for the Kings World Cup Clubs 2026, with places earned through domestic league titles, continental cup success and strong performances across the regular season.

The field reflects just how quickly the Kings League has expanded, with representatives from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and the MENA region all chasing the title of world champions.

Los Troncos FC (Spain)

The defending Kings World Cup Clubs champions return looking to retain their crown after lifting the trophy in Paris last year. Chaired by Spanish streamer Perxitaa, Los Troncos have become one of the Kings League's most successful clubs and also qualified by winning Kings League Spain Split 6.

Porcinos FC (Spain)

One of the biggest brands in the Kings League, Porcinos FC are led by streaming superstar Ibai Llanos. The club booked its place by winning the Kings Cup Europe, adding another trophy to one of the competition's most decorated teams.

FURIA FC (Brazil)

Backed by football icon Neymar Jr., FURIA FC secured qualification by winning the Kings Cup Americas. The Brazilian side has quickly become one of the tournament favourites thanks to its blend of elite players and global star power.

DR7 FC (MENA)

Named after Saudi streaming star Drb7h, DR7 FC arrive as the Kings Cup MENA champions.

FWZ (MENA)

FWZ qualified as Kings Cup MENA runners-up, earning the region's second berth at the World Cup Clubs and completing a strong showing for the newest Kings League competition.

No Rules FC (Germany)

The first-ever Kings League Germany champions, No Rules FC represent one of the league's fastest-growing markets after impressing throughout the inaugural German season.

Karasu (France)

Karasu arrive in Italy as the Kings League France champions after winning the country's second domestic title and becoming France's leading hope of lifting the World Cup Clubs trophy.Alpak FC (Italy)
