KSI to stream live Dagenham & Redbridge game in National League first

Content creator KSI is set to make National League history today by streaming Dagenham & Redbridge's National League South home clash with Hampton & Richmond live for free on his YouTube channel.
It will be the first time a National League game has been screened this way and takes place on Saturday, March 28th at 3pm GMT, where it will be shown on the 32-year-old's channel, which has 17.6 million subscribers.
The move will open the doors of non-league football to a truly global audience, as the Daggers look to close in on the play-off places with a win in Saturday's clash, which also forms part of Non-League Day.
“Streaming this game in this way is a landmark moment not only for the National League but also for the wider Non-League game," Phil Alexander, CEO of the National League, said.
"Partnering with DAZN and tapping into KSI’s global audience gives us a unique chance to showcase what makes this level of football so special."
Earlier this month, KSI bought a minority stake in the club, now managed by former England striker Andy Carroll, and vowed to take them to the Premier League.

They are currently 12th in the sixth tier of English football, having been relegated from the National League last year, and are six points off the play-off places.
Upon the announcement of the live game, Daggers' chief commercial officer John Grabowski said, "This is a hugely exciting opportunity for the Daggers, the National League, and non-league football as a whole.
"We appreciate DAZN’s creativity and ambition to partner with KSI and bring our match to a global audience, for free. It is a powerful statement of intent from DAZN and the National League."
Taking to his social media, KSI, whose name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, wrote on his Instagram story: "This is gonna be a movie. See you this Saturday."
The London-born content creator, who has over 75 million followers across his social platforms, is also the CEO of Misfits Boxing, President of Ballers League UK, co-owner of Prime and judge on ITV Britain’s Got Talent.
