Lewis Walker scores twice as 10-man Kidderminster ease to win at Wealdstone
Lewis Walker hit a brace as 10-man Kidderminster extended their unbeaten Vanarama National League run to five games with a 4-1 win over Wealdstone at Grosvenor Vale.
Walker opened the scoring in the third minute as the ball dropped for him to rifle home from close range and Harriers were then reduced to 10 men in the 27th minute when Angus MacDonald was shown a red card for a high challenge.
Kidderminster were made to pay for that ill discipline when Connor McAvoy headed home an equaliser just a minute later.
And 10 minutes later, the game was halted for 27 minutes due to two medical emergencies in the crowd, with both individuals reported to be in a stable condition and taken to hospital by medics.
Callum Dolan restored Kidderminster’s lead from the penalty spot two minutes into the second half before they pulled clear when Cian Harries swept home a low cross in the 56th minute and Walker fired into the bottom corner nine minutes from time.
