Peru and Canada meet on Tuesday each looking for their first win at Copa America 2024.
The Canadians faced reigning champions and world No. 1 Argentina to open the tournament last week and predictably fell 2-0 to the World Cup winners, but they raised some eyebrows with their style of play against Lionel Messi and Co.
Meanwhile, Peru's opening match of the competition was a slugfest against Chile that ended in a 0-0 draw. The Peruivans were on the wrong end of the possession and shooting stats in that match, and they'll look to reverse that against their North American opposition.
