Who are the best summer signings in the Premier League so far…

As the teams are looking to get their squads ready for the opening fixtures, DAZN News have picked out some of the best deals that have happened so far this window.

Youri Tielemans

With Casemiro departing and Manuel Ugarte out with a long-term injury, Manchester United desperately needed reinforcements in their midfield this summer.

Youri Tielemans has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League for a number of years, so this deal seems like very shrewd business from United.

Fellow midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Andrey Santos are both still young, so the Belgium captain will bring much-needed experience, quality and leadership to Old Trafford this term.

Harry Wilson 

There was plenty of interest in Harry Wilson when his Fulham contract ran out, but it was Leeds who snapped him up.

The Welsh international was one of the Premier League's standout performers last season, racking up ten goals and seven assists.

His eye for a goal and set-piece delivery will surely make Wilson a fan favourite at Elland Road this season.

Johan Manzambi

Johan Manzambi was one of the World Cup's breakout stars as he racked up 3 goals for Switzerland in their run to the quarter-finals.

Newcastle were heavily interested before Aston Villa swooped in and secured the 20-year-old from Freiburg.

The midfielder's creativity and goalscoring ability will be crucial for the Villains as they return to the Champions League this year.

But with Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans both leaving Villa Park, Manzambi has very big shoes to fill.

Luka Vušković

The Croatian international has joined Brighton for a club record fee from Tottenham without making a single appearance for Spurs.

Vušković spent all of last season on loan at Hamburger, where he impressed.

He is an intelligent defender and comfortable on the ball, but perhaps his best asset is in the opposition's box.

Standing at six foot four tall, Vušković is a huge threat from set pieces, scoring six times in the Bundesliga last term.

At just 19, he is regarded as one of the best young centre-backs around, and it looks a real coup for the Seagulls.

Matheus Fernandes

The Portuguese midfielder made the switch across London to join Spurs after West Ham were relegated last season.

Fernandes was a standout in a poor Hammers side and, alongside bringing in Sandro Tonali, shows Tottenham's ambitions are not to end up towards the bottom end of the Premier League again.

The 22-year-old provides tenacity and bite to a midfield that really lacked it last season, along with his technical ability, making him the perfect midfielder for Roberto De Zerbi's side.

Mamadou Sangaré

Probably the least well-known player on this list, Sangaré joined Brentford for a club record fee.

The Malian was a crucial cog in a Lens side that won the Coupe de France and finished runners-up to PSG in the league.

Sangaré will provide high energy and is a workhorse in midfield but is also extremely confident in possession.
