Five Serie A debuts to watch out for this weekend

Moise Kean (Como)

Como continue to make strides in their transition into a Champions League club and now have seriously beefed up their attacking options. 

A loan deal for one of the league's most established strikers feels like it could be the deal of the window, and gives Cesc Fabregas' men some real firepower in both the league and Europe. 

Kean did struggle in Fiorentina's dismal campaign last year, so a fresh start was probably required for the Italy international. 

However, if he can get near the form that saw him hit 25 goals in 2025, then it will prove a genius bit of business. 

Nick Woltemade (Juventus) 

The German has swapped the black and white stripes of Newcastle for those of the Old Lady in a season-long loan. 

It will give Juventus a different kind of focal point in attack with Jonathan David leaving for La Liga, and it could suit both the player and the club. 

Eleven goals for the Magpies in a season where he wasn't always even played up front is still a decent return, and the slower pace of Serie A could benefit the 24-year-old. 

Can he and Randal Kolo Muani fire Luciano Spalletti's men back to the Champions League?

Omari Hutchinson (Milan) 

Joining Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori at the San Siro is their latest English recruit, Hutchinson. 

The attacking midfielder came through the ranks at Chelsea like his fellow Milan teammates, but starred for Ipswich during their last Premier League run. 

A move to Nottingham Forest was meant to be the next step for the 22-year-old, but he didn't quite make his mark in the club's roller-coaster of a 2025-26. 

Now he'll get the chance to show what he can do for one of Italy's most famous names.

Wilfried Gnonto (Fiorentina)

Fiorentina may have lost star man Moise Kean, but in his place is a new-look attack which includes Beto and a return to Italy for Gnonto. 

The forward failed to really get a run in the Leeds team that returned to the Premier League last season, but there's no doubting what he can offer. 

Pace, power and a real eye for goal, the move to Florence could really light a fire under the player and get Fiorentina back on track. 

At 22, too, he's still got the potential for so much more. 

Djed Spence (Inter) 

We've seen the first two of Inter's new English trio make their bow for the champions, but we're all still waiting for the debut of Spence. 

England's standout player - outside of the obvious - from the summer is set to be included in the Nerazzurri's squad for the first time as they prepare to host Napoli. 

Whether he'll be deployed on the left or the right remains to be seen, but he'll be another massive asset to Cristian Chivu's bid to retain the Scudetto. 

With John Stones and Curtis Jones also primed to start, Inter's Three Lions influence has never been bigger.
