DAZN is once again the home of Serie A in the UK, Ireland and Canada, where you can watch every minute of action from the 2026-27 season, and things kicked off with a bang as the new campaign got underway.
There was a big win for the defending champions, while their predicted challengers all got off to an ideal start too.
Here are the big headlines from the opening weekend of Serie A, with two games still left to play on Monday evening.
The current Scudetto holders made a dominant start to their title defence by making light work of newly promoted Monza.
It took just six minutes for the Nerazzurri to open the scoring through Hakan Çalhanoğlh and they went on to record a 4-1 win at the San Siro, picking up where they left off last season as runaway champions.
There was a league debut for John Stones, too, who played the last 15 minutes, and Cristian Chivu's men still have Djed Spence and Curtis Jones to add to the array of talent in this squad.
Marker very much laid down.
If there is to be a challenger to Inter's crown, the most likely contenders are last season's runners-up, Napoli, and city rivals Milan.
The Rossoneri are now under the guidance of Ruben Amorim, and the man who endured a tough tenure at Manchester United got off to an ideal start with his new team, bagging a 2-1 away win at Torino.
Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne was the difference for Napoli, as Massimiliano Allegri also began his run as boss with an away win at Genoa. The Belgian helped himself to a goal and an assist off the bench in the 2-0 victory.
There was also an opening day win for Juventus at Frosinone, while Como drew 1-1 with Udinese.
Torino may have suffered an opening weekend defeat, but Che Adams' goal is already a contender for one of the goals of the season.
The Scottish striker's perfect swivel volley turned out only to be a consolation for the home side, but it may put him in the running for this year's Puskas award!
What a strike!
