The US players set to shine on home turf at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup
FIFA Club World Cup - Every game free on DAZN.com

32 of the world's best teams will compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup  - where every game is free to watch on DAZN - in the USA, 12 months become they host the FIFA World Cup.

The tournament will see some of the biggest names from across the globe compete in a competition similar to that of a World Cup or European Championship.

As hosts, the USA will be looking to show off the kind of hospitality that they'll bring at next summer's World Cup, but the tournament will also see some of the nations' players strut their stuff on home soil.

DAZN News looks at the Americans who will be leading the charge for the tournament's host country.

Weston McKennie - Juventus

McKennie is a US regular who has already experienced the Bundesliga, Premier League and Serie A since making the move to Europe at the age of 18.

The midfielder made a quick impression at Schalke before becoming the first American to sign for Juventus and has since gone on to make nearly 150 appearances for the Italian club.

His ability to play in defence and even attack has made him a valuable member of the Old Lady's squad, and the 60-cap international is ready to add the Club World Cup to the list of honours he has won with the club.

Jordan Morris - Seattle Sounders

A legend in Seattle, Morris is ready to show what he and the Sounders are made of at the Club World Cup.

The forward made his debut for the MLS club in 2016 and has gone on to make over 250 appearances for the club and become the Sounders' record goalscorer with 87 goals to his name.

The MLS sides know they face an uphill battle against some of Europe's elite, but with Jordan on their side, Seattle has an opportunity to make an impression, while Morris can use the tournament to stake a claim for an international recall.

Giovanni Reyna - Borussia Dortmund

Following in the footsteps of former Manchester City and USA hero Claudio Reyna, Gio continued to make an impact at Borussia Dortmund.

The tricky midfielder, who was actually born in Sunderland while his Dad had a spell on Wearside, signed for the German from the academy at New York City FC and has gone on to play nearly 150 games for the club - and even enjoyed a brief loan spell in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest.

He's played a big role in the national team in the last year after being named Player of the Tournament in last year's CONCACAF Nations League Finals, which the US won, and he'll be desperate to put on a show for the home fans this summer.

Timothy Weah - Juventus

The name Weah comes with its own weight, especially in Serie A, but Timothy is doing his thing his way and has become a big success at Juventus.

The adaptable right-sided star already had league titles won in France with PSG and in Scotland during a loan spell at Celtic before moving to Italy in 2023, and this year has been a standout campaign for the 25-year-old.

His pace and goal contributions from the right have been key to Juventus this season, and alongside USA teammate Weston McKennie, there could be a lot of love for the Italian side in the US this summer.

Benjamin Cremaschi - Inter Miami

Among Inter Miami's bright lights, there will be some eyes on the club's homegrown stars as they get set to host the Club World Cup.

Goalie Drake Callender hopes the tournament will help him break his international duck, but it could also be the stage for Benjamin Cremaschi.

The attacking midfielder, who already has 3 caps to his name, may only be 20, but he's the club's biggest hope to make a mark for the national team. This summer, with more of a spotlight on him and the Inter team, it could be the making of him.
